Frequently Asked Questions
General
A standard car wash focuses on a quick surface clean to remove loose dirt, often using automated brushes that can scratch your clear coat. Auto detailing is a meticulous, hand-done restoration process. We use specialized tools, safe washing techniques, and professional-grade compounds to deep-clean your interior and eliminate paint defects, preserving your vehicle's long-term value.
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied by hand to a vehicle’s exterior. It chemically bonds with the factory paint, creating a sacrificial, hydrophobic layer of protection. Unlike wax, which washes off in a few weeks, our professional ceramic coatings protect your vehicle from UV rays, chemical stains, and bird droppings for 3 to 5+ years with proper maintenance.
Precision paint correction can safely remove 80% to 95% of surface defects, including swirl marks, light scratches, and holograms. If a scratch has cut completely through the clear coat down to the primer or bare metal, it cannot be fully polished out and may require touch-up paint. We inspect your clear coat depth before we begin to ensure a safe, optimal restoration.
A premium interior and exterior detail typically takes 4 to 6 hours. For precision paint correction and ceramic coating applications, the process usually requires 1 to 2 days. This timeframe allows for meticulous prep work, multi-stage polishing, precise coating application, and the necessary infrared or ambient curing time before the vehicle faces the elements.
On average, a comprehensive full interior and exterior detail takes approximately 4 hours to complete. However, the exact duration varies depending on the vehicle's size, its current condition, and the severity of any deep cleaning required
Our base rates cover vehicles with average everyday wear and tear. If your interior requires extra hours of intensive labor such as removing heavy pet hair, cleaning up major spills, treating mold, or clearing out severe mud from hunting trips the price will adjust to reflect that extra time and material.
